just installed the greddy i/c pipes from RRE this past weekend.
$225 for both which isn't bad. i've seen that price for just the upper pipe at other places.
install wasn't too bad. the only problems i had were getting the stock clamps off the lower pipe & the 1 underneath the relay box.
a lot of cursing went into that. :)
i also had the k&n filter previously installed w/the injen intake pipe.
after the setup, it was a real pain to squeeze the k&n back into place. it goes right to the edge. probably gonna have to get a smaller filter like hks or greddy. :(
the pipes are very nice silver painted mandrel bent.
u have to see all the stock pipes & all the restriction pressings they have. especially the lower one (has some kind of restictor box on it).
the upper pipe came flanged for the greddy bov. that only took 2 minutes to put on.
taking it for a test spin was like nite & day. its starting to get some balls now. spool up seemed a tad bit quicker. but the boost shoots up to 20psi easily. i have definitly have to get a boost controller this week. now i just gotta scrape togther some dough for that exhaust.
