I recently installed my Injen intake for my 2003 Galant 4cyl. The problem is the bracket that the injen rests/bolts on is part of the cam shaft housing and has some negative leads going to it. In the instructions it specifies to attach it there which obviosly makes sense but when i unscrew the screw and attach the intake to the extra space I have a REAL hard time tightening the screw and it will not stay. It will obviously not attach beacause the stock braket is too short.

They "injen" also included a screw that they said will fit in there, but it doesnt.

Now I have the intake just laying there, which isnt a real big problem but I would like to have it attached, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

I never used a bracket with my intake, I just zip tie'd it to the nearest solid point.

Zip Ties are your friend :D

I would just take the screw to the local
hardware store and see if you can get a longer
one. You want to bolt this down so it doesn't go
flying off on the first road hazzard you hit...

Mine is ziptied too, but I don't trust it.
