poor slowstang damn neon!

Last night at the track I saw this 5.0 beating this 3rd gen crapmaro. :D So, after I got my ass handed by a NOS'd neon R/T finnaly I got to race the guy in the stang (and a big grin in my face because he was running 15.5's @90 mph) So, we lined up, we took off and even though the stang had a jump at the start (2.2 60ft to my 2.5) when I shifted to third it was all over.

The outcome: 14.95@95mph vs 15.4@89 hehehe :cool: but I'm still pissed because of that damn neon! LOL

Both guys where cool, I raced the neon guy again just because usually I get a personal best when I race somebody faster than me. The mustang guy was like "well all I have is a H pipe and dual flows" but he gave me props for my car. :D

Can't wait for a full 3 in. exhaust... :(

Hey Juan,

You should specify in your sig that you have totaly stock Exhaust (hell, stock unported 1G manifold for crying out loud!) :)

Yeah Keith this damn stock exhaust is what it's keeping me slow. I want to install that fuel pump SOON! It's been over 6 months that I bought it but I've been lazy! :D

BTW I never said the neon's et he beat me with a 14.31@99 vs my 14.85@95.

Keith, good that you point that out :) Juan's time is damn good considering his level of mods. Did the neon have other mods besides the spray?

I remember when I saw under the hood of the neon he had pretty much most of the bolt ons. I saw a CAI, header, "dual" exhaust, 75 shot NOS, AEM cam sprokets and he told me that he also has some extra fuel to back up the NOS.

I saw him running off the bottle and he was running 15.0's at 92 mph or so.
