2 kids in a (1980+?)Porsche 911 and myself in my 90 Talon Tsi, entered a three-lane(one carpool lane) on-ramp at the same time. He saw me and hit the gas, I also hit the gas and we were side by side when suddenly, he shifted into what must have been first gear. His car skidded and hopped, er,er,er,er,er,er... I laughed my ass off as I flew by him. Then once on the freeway he went flying past me at 80+. He had to prove something I guess, I let him go, for the race was over, he lost BIG.

Damn! How do Porsche engines respond to being over reved? I know Mitsubishi engines handle it well...good thing for us :)

Good kill!

Best pass to date 12.817 @ 108.42 with a 1.786 60'. Not bad for a 4 door huh?

Dyno sheets at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Track/1635/Galant_info.html

PS: Yeah, I know that time is slow for that dyno sheet. This track sucks!

They're lucky they weren't driving a BMW M3, they'd be buying a new transmission about now!
