Ok guys, there's this guy that just got a 88 mustang lx 5.0. My friends told me that he will wax my ass (everybody wants to beat me from where I work :D ) So my friends told me to go to the track tonight because he is going bwahahahaha I saw him taking off from the parking lot and I notice that it's an automatic. I told my friends that if he is stock (wich it sounded like it is) he might run high 15's just because it will be the first time racing that car, but they say that he is a hell of a driver. Let's wait and see...
I'll let you guys know the results!
P.S hey keith are you going tonite?

Well, the guy never showed up. :( But I have some cool stories to post!
I had two of my closest races ever! The first one was a gutted black integra GSR. He challenged me after seeing me pulling a 15.000@95mph so he told me that he runs mid-high 14's so I said cool let's race! So we lined up and we took off almost at the same time, we where door to door all the way down the 1/4 until the top of my third gear with I slowly started to walk on him. 14.93@95mph vs his 14.94@93 mph I won by .008 seconds!
The second one was against a modded CRX, this guy was mounting slicks and all, so I started to talk to him and he asked me what car I drive so I pointed to my car and I told him that's my ride, so one of his friends told him to race me and as I started to walk towards my car I overheard one of his friends telling him "I have seen those they are slow" LOL so we lined up and we took off, he got about two cars on me or so at the launch (2.0 vs 2.5 60ft) when I finnaly got traction I shift to sec and GRRRRRINNNDDD! **** I missed sec! needless to say he won by about 5 cars or so. So we go back to the pits and the guy was "I can't belive I killed you!" So I told him "cool man, hey let's go again" And the same guy that said that my car is slow said "yeah go kick his ass again" How come that most **** talkers don't even have cars? Anyway So he agreed to go race again. So we lned up and he again was about two cars in front of me, so I shifted to second and YES! I start to get closer and closer at the very end I finnaly catch up to him and trip the lights with a 14.91 vs his 15.01 :D I won by .013 seconds!
Now, I lined up with this 5.slow he burns out we lined up and I got the holeshot with a .504 (best rt of the night!) and I was in front of him the whole race and I won by about 5 car lenghts with a 14.89@95 vs his 15.84@84 bwahahahh :D It was a grat night for me!

The thing is that the CRX guy was very cool and he was well aware what he was up against, that's why he was surprised when he first beat me. The integra guy was very cool too, we hung out at the pits for a while talking to people and stuff. Oh yeah, I tried to use some hondalogic by taking out the spare tire, jack, toolbox, jumperwires, fuel pump and some magazines from my trunk. I raced with my "extensive weight reduction" and I had no difference on my times LOL.

LOL! He has had his NEW fuel pump sitting in the trunk for 6 months now without installing it. Putting it IN would speed him up a lot more than saving the weight of it by taking it out :)

The guy did show up tonight, as I expected he was running high 15's at 83 mph or so. He still challenged me so, since I can use a 5.0 ass-whoopin anyday I accepted. :D
Now, guess what happened!? When I was signing in to race, I saw one of the track officials yelling at im something, next thing I saw was that the official put an "X" over his number. I was like; WTF? What happened was that he let his wife race the car without signing her in, oops! :p heand the official continued arguing and then he got kicked out of the track! WOW!
Nothing interesting tonight, the track conditions sucked, I heard people saying that the barometric pressure was very high and the track was actually behaving as if it was at over 1500ft of elevation. My best was 15.21@93, yep the car felt slow as hell!

I think you meant to say pressure was low? High elevation = low pressure.
You going to be at Todd's in the Morning? I plan on brow beating Miguel into going to the track after we put the ported O2 housing and portem Manifold on his car :D
