(i own a 98GST with many mods check near bottom of post)As ashamed that i am to put this up it is true, Sunday night on the way home from work i decided to take the major street that people race on the weekend to my house. Well before i turned on the street, I was driving along the feeder road when this Z-28 flew by me, so i punched it and went after him. We turned on the street and he floored it so did i. We reach the red light. As soon as the green light goes were off and for a second there i was next to him and all of a sudden there was this huge jerk back,i think it was fuel cut hit and i was still on his tail when i hit into 3rd and fuel cut hit again. WTF!!! I never ever experienced fuel cut and man was it a bi... as i saw the camero pull away from me. So we reach another red light and i was still shocked that i had fuel cut because i have never experienced it before i got the Big 16g and fuel pump. So the light turns green and were off again this time there is no fuel cut.(????) But whythe hell is the camero pulling away on me with so much speed even at full boost(15psi on Big 16g) in 2nd he was still pulling away and man was i disappointed. We pull at the next light and we said our greedings but i am also listening to the engine. It sounds as there was a supercharger in there. It was this whistling noise as superchargers make. i know this is not the right place to ask but should i get fuel cut with my mods:u/i piping 1st gen BOV, air filter,MBC at 15psi on Big 16g, fuel pump, 2.5 downpipe, no cat, ATR 3in exhaust, ported manifold, free mods. Is it fuel cutting because there is alot of air going to the engine and the ECU cuts it off? What can i use to eliminate it anyone and keep it off for good? If by summer i am not kicking everyones but around here i will be forced to sell my GST and get me a AWD once again. Sorry to disappoint guys.

yes you have fuel cut and if you would have listened to my reply to your post in general tech you wouldn't have fuel cut now. please go and read those posts and take advice from somebody that has been there and done that. it's so easy to get rid of fuel cut with the 2g mas.
if indeed that was a supercharged f-body you would have had trouble with him anyways. those things can pull low 12's with nothing more then an exhaust and the s/c kit.

I don't know if this is the case with camaros but a buddy of mine has a 93 TA with a bunch of stuff done to it and it sounds like it is supercharged but it is not. His upgraded throttle body wistles loudly and it is supposedly the way it is supposed to be. If this camaro was anywhere near as loud as my buddies car it could have sounded s/c and not been.
You are definately hitting fuel cut also--you should have expected that with the new turbo! ;) Do the mods to the mas like 4npower said and raise the boost to 17# and go back out hunting :)

Yeah i am planning to hopefully get the mas modded today but i'am hesitant to turn up the boost. what would be the safest boost i could turn it up to. thanks to 4npower and everyone for the advise on the mas.

If you have an upgraded pump you can run 17# safely and without the pump don't run more than 16#. Some get away with more but I wouldn't do it unless you have a way to monitor the egt and or a/f ratio.
