I'm sure a lot of you might've not heard of them, but a while ago I accidently stumbled upon straightline specialties.com, and I decided to buy my 50 trim from them since they had the cheapest price. I had never heard of them, but after buying parts after parts from them I just felt like I had to share the wealth with all the fellow dsmers, they definately deserve a lot more recognition and I believe they would be quite a valuable asset to the dsm community.

Let me sum it up.... I've only dealt with Nick this whole entire time, but he replies to emails extremely quick, nights, weekends, whenever. Shipping is VERY quick, they're in North Dakota and I'm in souther cali, shipping takes 2 days!! And get this.... they use USPS...not UPS, so there is always a signature confirmation required, and you know it's not going to be damaged (well except for my fuel pump...read on).

Service is top notch... the plastic part on the fuel pump somehow broke, told Nick and he sent one out asap even before I sent the broken one back. Same with the oil feed/supply line kit for the turbo (that's a diff story), but once again he sent that out right away even before he recieved the old one. I asked Nick to send everything in bubble wrap etc etc to make it extra safe, and he did just as i had asked. The prices are also extremely good, comparable to EBAY.

I've dealt with many other vendors, and many of which I cannot complain, but whether it's shipping, prices, or service, straightline specialties are head above shoulders from most dsm vendors. I've just become their new regular customer, I'm sure from now on most of you will too. No they did not tell me to do this, and they did not offer me any deals to write up this review, I just honestly feel like they deserve it.

I had their hard intake pipe. It's pretty good. I dealt with them years ago. The inside of the intake wasn't the smoothest, but I'm looking to replace it anyway with a 2g-1g. So I'm waiting on them to develop one. Yes, service is good, and I'm going to be purchasing my upper IC piping from them. 8^) Fair price, straight line to the throttle body. Has everything I'm looking for.

I have there Center vent guage bezel, and it's a pretty nice piece, fits nice and seems powder coated well, I can't comment on shipping though as I ordered this through dsmotorsport.

By the way, this probably could have been put in the vendor reviews section, seeing as it is infact a vendor review. ;)

Thanks for all the comments guys. We had some times where we got a little behind on some of our fabricated items but being a smaller operated shop we can only move so fast, but we do our best to bring you guys quality products @ a good price. Keep checking back as we are going to be releasing our new website and constantly adding new products as well as custom fabricated parts.

I've read unflattering things about SLS at dsmreviews.com, but being we're local (kinda), I've gotten to deal with them on a first hand basis. People on a local board always talk about how they're busy all the time, but whenever we've called, they're able to get the car right away. And they're also really patient about answering all sorts of questions. I dunno what would've happened if we didn't have SLS to go to when gremlins showed up. And their prices seem to be pretty cheap too.

I have to give them props too. They sent me an UICP for my 1g. Did'nt come with any clamps. I was a bit confused but just used some of the multitude of ones I had laying around in the garage :) Bout 3 days later I received another package from them with all the clamps and an apology for them not being included in the original package.
