Hehehe, takes balls to race a bike :)

For test and tune here you get matched up against whatever happens to be in the next lane....my one run against a bike:

. . . . . Me. . . . . bike
60' . . 1.784 . . . . 1.973
1/8 . . 8.370 . . . . 7.211
mph . . 84.44 . . . . 106.19
1/4 . . 12.970 . . . 10.936
mph . . 106.81 . . . 128.59

Can't remember what kind of bike it was, but it kicked my ass :D

Best pass to date 12.817 @ 108.42 with a 1.786 60'. Not bad for a 4 door huh?

Dyno sheets at http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Track/1635/Galant_info.html

PS: Yeah, I know that time is slow for that dyno sheet. This track sucks!

It takes a lot more balls to ride one of those things. I rode my freinds 97 Suzuki GSXR 750 around the block once. Now I grew up riding dirt bikes, and Ive ridden a few cruser bikes in my life. I can honestly say that this guys little crotch rocket scared me so bad, that Ill never get on one again!!!

Hehehe, It does take some balls to ride one but it take bigger ones to get back on after a good wreck. I tagged a maxima about a 2 weeks ago on my 900rr, There was an accident prior to my arrival into the blind turn. I came around the turn and had nowhere to go but head first into the maxima or 20 people helping the biker that was in the original accident. Anyway I'm not braging just letting the other bikers know, expect the unexpected. Oh ya, go buy some nice leathers. You might look a little over dressed but its better to have some skin left.

Bike crashes are bad, a kid was killed last year in our school on one. BTW Tom, are you ok?

Ya, fine, I only got a little rash on the balls of my ankles from where my suit stopped. Pretty good for skimming acoss the pavment at 50mph :). The bikes fine too except for the front end and some plastic damage of course, but it will definatly be back on the road by spring again, with no avail from my girlfriend. Thought about dropping it and streching it for the strip, but than again, anyone can ride a bike fast and straight, when the twisty's come and your footpegs draggin... that when it takes balls. hehe.

A freind of mine dropped on the pavement just this weekend. He was leaving a bar (idiot), and wasnt wearing a hat (idioter). He had 23 stitches accross his face, and has to get a skin graft and reconstructive surgery. Bikers beware.

You know, I've always wondered what possesses some bikers to ride without helmets and wearing shorts, but then again, by doing that, they are probably doing the gene pool a favor.
Tom, I'm glad you were wearing leathers. See, DSM owners are usually sensible people :).

Well my crash on my ZX-6 wasnt bad but it could've been. I was turning a corner doing @20 when my chain snapped, locked up the rear wheel and threw me right in front of a on coming car. Luckily they stopped in time. But it still scared the sh1t out of me.

Once I was driving a Chevy Suburban, and took a slow left turn into a driveway. Well, there was a guy on like a 1985 Honda motorcycle trying to pass me in the left lane which was unbeknownst to me at the time b/c I had looked in my side and rearview mirrors before I turned, and there was nothing there.(Turned out he had been going very fast and came around a corner behind me just after I looked in my mirrors) Anyway, he tried to turn the bike hard and skidded about 100 ft on the pavement before wedging his motorcycle under the Suburban. Let me tell you those Chevy's are like a tank b/c I felt absolutely ZERO vibration or sound when that bike slammed under the vehicle. Luckily the guy had a helmet on and probably saved him from taking the header against the bike. He had no broken bones but his skin and clothes were shredded! Scary stuff!
