I put their whole race head package on (with Bullfrog Cams) a couple of months ago. The cams do idle kinda rough, but they pull real hard at about 3700-3900 rpm. I can really feel the difference. I am going to put it on a dyno Saturday to adjust them. I'll post my results. Overall, I've been very happy with them.

I had a set. I believe they where the "Bull frogs", yes they did sound a little lopey. The idle was fine a little rough, but it was more that likely the rest of the car that made it idle rough hehe. But they seemed to come on later in the rpm like 3800-4200 or so. I had a t3/t4 at the time. I noticed a difference when I bolted them on to say the least. I went to a larger cam now but I personally had no bad experiences with them. Give them a 7 on a 1-10 scale 1 being the lowest.
Hoep it helps,

I am using the 228 gude cams in my 20g 90 FWD. I have to say from experience that thay make a lot of power. I mean a lot. The tourque increase is where these cams shine. The idle was rough and the car sounded like a small block ford 5.0 on steroids. I love it and man it scares the S#@T out of the other guy sitting at the light. I say go for it.
