Dude, I don't know if you just haven't tried or what, but there's a huge group in the D/FW area that meets on a regular basis. There's also about 3 D/FW-specific e-mail lists just for the our area as well. Welcome to the club! Some links you might want to visit:

What list is everyone on these days? Im still on NTEX, but where does everyone meet? I have to work Thursdays (Kennedale). Does anyone hit the tracks on the weekends. I went to Denton a few times, but looked stupid with all the 6 second big blocks set up for the 1/8th. There are a lot of DSM'rs here in North Texas, but we really dont do too much stuff as a group. We should have weekly meetings. Dont yall think? Or at least monthly.
