Hey "ohmygawd" i had no idea about the wensday and thursday night scene. i might just check out hooters tommorow night. do other DSMs go there too? cool more places with more fellow DSMer's =)

The Hooters closed down so that scene is over...

There's also Deep Park Avenue on Friday's, I haven't been there, but, I hear it's wild. Mostly imports and a lot of street racing. Also, a lot of cops.

If you go to deer park ave, amke sure your car is COMPLTELY legal on the outside. I mean front plate, no plate plastic plate covers, etc. The cops WILL get you for ANY minor infraction. But its still fun to kick Honda ass, and then the Honda will usually grt pulled over because of the bumble bee exhaust and stickers, while we drive away laughing.

Oh well to bad hooters is shut down. deer park ave i always go to. it is wild and you do have to watch out for the cops. this friday coming up i might go. first maybe to Bellmore train station then hop on over to DPA. maybe i'll see you guys around.

Bellmore isnt far out at all. If your coming from the west, just take Sunrise Highway wesr until you get to Bellmore train station. You cant miss it on Fri night, theres a lot of cars, two full parking lots, but it dies off when the cold weather hits. Id say its about 15-20 mins from Queens.
Deer Park Ave is a lot farther, I think its exit 39 on the Southern State, about 25-30 mins on the parkway from Queens with no traffic.

DPA is great, I usually try to go down once a month and hang out with my old VW club. I find the cops to be pretty cool usually. I've raced infront of them, as long as you stop by 50 or so and don't act stupid there ok.
