For all the San Diego area DSMs this is for you... A little meet has been scheduled on one of the other strings. I am just moving it here so others who haven't been to that string can find out about it. If you live in the San Diego area come down to the races at Qualcomm stadium on Oct. 20th. Whether you are planning to race or not..show up anyways. We need to get all the San Diego DSMs together. Show the rest what's up. :)

Alright guys....we were wrongly informed. There is no races at the stadium on the 20th. There are races this friday (13th) and two fridays from then (27th). Please post when u guys think it would be best to meet.... Also I think that we should all meet up before the races and roll in together right when they open the gates so we can all park right up front and park together.

I want to go both days but I don't think I'll have my car on the 13th. Gotta take it to the shop this wednesday to get my side skirts re-painted (got scratched pretty bad last week while I was gone). But no matter, I'll be there. I'll definitely bring my car on the 27th. I've never been to the races at the Q so I need you guys's help on where to meet. Or like someone else suggested, we can meet somewhere else and we can roll in together....

Yeah that was me. Red Talon parked by itself for awhile. Had a chance to see like two Eclipses race, took off to go to Oktoberfest in La Mesa. My car for now it is dropped, I just bought a mbc and boost gauge with a/f meter. Haven't had time to install them yet. Im going to SDSU right now and it's keeping me busy as well as work. Big plans for it but I keep paying for stupid shhhhhhh like tickets and traffic school so the mods are coming slowly. Right now I waiting for a guy to sell me his 98GSX wheels, for now then going 18's when I get the paint job. But that is also on hold because I'm trying to find a way of getting Z3 fins on the front panels. Im all about perfection so Im taking it slow. For now I have to grin and bear it. To answer your question, yeah that was me. I took a picture of a black Eclipse, and a girls Eclipse with Clear taillights and neonglow gauges. Action probably started late, but I had to leave. I will probably go back on the 13th though and stay to see the eliminations. So how did you do? Later.

Yeah I was the other black Eclipse when you were there early. But I got taken in the eliminations by a vortech supercharged M3... crapola. No one else would get next to him at the lights, since I was next in line... Oh well that was my first time at any legal race so I should do better next time. Ill race again on the 13th!

I need to hook up with you guys cause i don't know anyone in this town yet. I think i will be going to the Qualcomm on the 13th and probably on the 27th too. I've got a red 93 gsx that looks bone stock except for a boostgauge. the dead givaway that its me will be my wisconsin plate. So does anyone have a pre-race meeting place in mind??? You'll have to help me out in that department cause i don't know where anything is! I don't really even know where the qualcom is, but i think im pretty close to it.

Another thing, what are the fast guys running for 1/8 mi times? I can run 8.8s pretty consistantly, is that good enough?

what kind of rules are there for these races? I dont have a good exhaust yet, so when i would go to the strip in WI i would unbolt my cat and back and just run a downpipe to atmosphere. Will i be able to do that?

supposed to pick up the tranny sometime this week. motor should be assembled before this weekend, bolted the head onto it tonight. exhaust and afc should be in next week..... will be cutting it close but hope to join you guys for a change. i took 3 days off work end of next week just to have it ready.
sux when you try putting all your 2G FWD parts onto a 1G AWD.. things just dont match up like you plan them too.
if the car works i'll run it....

sorry to confuse you, all i was saying is i had a 96 GST and swapping all the performance parts i can off of that car into my 90 AWD. i just put my 2G head onto my 1G block. and i'll leave you with a pic of the size of the 2G head... heh lots bigger then a 1G

well i need to make the pipes for the FMIC but i cant drive the car in to make them until i get the 5 bolts that hold the transfer case onto the trans. other then that, its all ready to go..... 5 bolts are kicking my ass right now.
