Woohoo ... is this a new forum I smell?
Time to clutter it up! List what clutch & flywheel you have. :)
(Brand, pressure, where you got it, and for what price would be great ... also whether it's daily/street driver or racing mostly, and if you recommend it or not)
Since I'm still waiting for my DSM >.< I can't even answer yet, but I will later. :P

Got the Spec V Stage 3 Clutch with 6 puck disc and an aluminum flywheel from them as well. Paid 615 shipped for both from thespeedfactor.com and got it quickly so definitely recommend them. The car is daily driver but it will be a weekend warrior as well.

We recommend ACT Clutches and our own Pro Street chromoly customers to our customers. We run them in our own cars also.

I'm running a Road Race Engineering No Name/X-Clutch and Fidanza Aluminum flywheel with ARP Toyota Supra flywheel bolts and an A/T flexplate spacer.
I love it.

I'm running an OEM Mitsu Flywheel (i like my revvs to stay up during shifts) and a SBR 3500 Heavy Duty Clutch.
I did have an ACT 2100 but when I got a new tranny I decided to go with a beafier clutch. the 2100's pressure plate was totally messed up though when it came out of the car, but the disk was fine.

I had an act 2100 clutch and a stock flywheel on my old talon. It was great for a daily driver and someone who does not race. It held up to the fair amount of hard launches i put it though, not too many cause i don't race. But a big upgrade over oem, even though it's a pretty mild clutch. My stocker lasted me about 10 launches (it wasn't new though).

When I got my Eclipse it had an ACT 2600 PP w/ 6-puck, un-sprung, ceramic disc. Great for strength, bad for tranny. I broke the diff, and many gears more than once. Finally I went to a CFDF and loved it to death.

ACT 2600/street organic disc and stock 6-bolt flywheel.
I love it to death if it would only stop rounding off my clutch pedal assembly. :)

I just broke my clutch release fork with my 2600 ACT. It lasted about 2yrs with the stock one. Stock flywheel, can't remember what I paid for it but I got it from Pro Street.

on the galant i have a centerforce dual friction and a slightly lightened stock flywheel.
on my 91 gsx i had an act2600 with a stock flywheel. i didnt like the act for the fact that it went through 2 slave cylinders, one master cylinder and it broke the stock shift fork.

My 2600 has done that to me as well and when the tranny was pulled found alot of other problems as well. My disk didn't last very long but I think it was due to premature wear from a bent clutch fork causing the clutch to be slightly engaged at all times. With the clutch pedal all the way to the floor and sitting in first or reverse the car would roll very slowly as if it were an automatic. This didnt happen in neutral. The clutch fork broke afew days ago and it was not a fun experience. I love the 2600 but in order for it to work properly the slave cyl rod has to be replace with a longer one or modified and the flyhwheel has to be stepped to a certain spec (i forget what it is) even if its an aftermarket flywheel you have to make sure its stepped properly. I didn't do these and now im paying the price.
I had an ACT2600 on my Talon for two years. It just started to round off the pedal assembly. When I put it in I rebuilt the master cyl, now the fluid is black, which tells me there is a rubber seal about to blow out. It just puts too much pressure on the whole system.
So now I have a Spec Stage 3 clutch waiting to go in. I opted for the 6 puck sprung hub. As a bonus it's exactly one pound lighter than the old clutch, so it's almost like getting a slightly lighter flywheel, too.
I also have a Fidanza flywheel on the Talon.
My Laser has a stock flywheel with an ACT2100. Works great, holds daily driver power levels with no problem. Nice, light pedal feel. I'll buy anoher when this one wears out.

Which is basicly the same as the RRE clutch cough. I've seen both side by side. They look the same. From what I understand the RRE one is organic and the SBR disc is carbon kevlar.
Most people I know seem to prefer the RRE organic over the carbon kevlar one. Not to mention the RRE kit costs less.
One thing I noticed was they both seem to be Comp Clutch designs. I think both sellers contract with CC for these clutches. Could be wrong but I see the CC emblem on both discs and the pressure plates are the same other then RRE leaves there silver and SBR paints there red. Both have the same heat sinking etc.

ACT 2100 PP and Street Disc $322 from ipsmotorsports.net. These guys will match any price and are extremely helpful/quick.
Also using stock flywheel.
Had an ACT 2600 on my other 1G and loved the launches with it but I went with the 2100 on the 94 because I do ALOT of stop and go driving, and the clutch pedal assembly would be worn out in no time.
The 2100 seems to be holding up pretty good, only launched a couple times. I can't get the wipers to turn on though, but I'm thinking my wiper stalk switch isn't worn out enough yet to move under launching, plus my car is still slow. Still grips awesome launching/between shifts.
