Ok before anyone says anything im not a n00b manual driver, but I tried doing a launch today and i reved it up a lil bit...launched...and what seemed like tire spinning occured...then i shifted into 2nd to grab and go but apparently my clutch just started ROASTING...I'd never had this happen!
how bad do you think I fvcked it up? I was real worried when this happened...should I be scared?

Dont worry about it but try not to do it anymore. I have roasted my clutch numerous times, it just happens sometimes when you ride the clutch on the launch etc. Shouldnt mess anything up, just increase the wear on it.

Should be fine, you probably glazed it a bit. Give it a little time, and it'll be back to normal.

One of the stupidest things i've ever done was i launched my car when i was in third. My car just sat in place clutch burned. It was fine afterwards. I thought my clutch would have been dead. This was an act 2100. If it was the stocker, i'm sure it would have been done for sure.

Yep, just drive normal for a bit and it will return to normal.
The glazing was probably just do to your method of launching. Maybe just a little to much slippage.

we've all done it, no one has killed their clutch unless they sat there holding it while clutch smoke comes billowing out of the hood. relax, go drive it, it will feel find soon enough.

Ha ha that smell usually means your doing something fun tho. (or at least trying to) Im not going to repeat what everyone else seems the need to keep saying. Just do what they all said.
