I'm about to get a 95 awd summit/expo wagon (4g64). The tranny supposedly is the same as the 2g DSMs, but will the DSM clutches fit? If not, will a dsm flywheel fit to enable the use of dsm clutches?

I have a mirage with 4g61t engine and swapped in a fwd 4g63 flywheel and it alowed me to use a dsm clutch with the stock tranny.

The clutch is slipping and I will replace it but I want to get a clutch I can re-use when I swap in a 4g63t later.

All the 90-99 dsm turbo clutches are the same.

But this is a non-turbo awd clutch, not sure if a turbo clutch would work.

check the p/n on the tranny that might tell you if the tranny is the same as a 2g, other than that id say give it a shot

Yep, all turbo dsm clutches are the same... flywheels are different.

I know the turbo clutches are all the same but I'm trying to determine if they will fit a non turbo awd 4g64. The part #s for stock clutches are different so most likely I will need a 7 bolt awd dsm flywheel to make this work.

The 4g64 uses the same part # for their clutch as the turbo 4g63 tranny.
