7 bolt tranny on 6 bolt motor?

Ok, i'm putting my freshly rebuilt 6 bolt motor in my 93 TSI, and i want to know if the tranny off the original 7 bolt motor will bolt onto the new 6 bolt motor. got my ACT2600 installed tonight, will be putting the tranny on the motor tomorrow, and the actual motor in on friday. unless i can't use the damn tranny on my motor.

I Did the same thing except i went from a 91 gst trans 6 bolt to a 94 talon talon n/t the only problem i had was that the flywheel was a different size the gst flywheel was larger and the starter dident engage It should work as long as the flywheel is the same size all the other bolts and locator pins line up
