i Have a eclipse 2.0 non turbo could get anything else unlike most people i live in new york and when your an idiot like me and the first thing you own is a bike i have an unreasonably amount of speeding tickets
i blew my clutch a while back looking at some girl after i fixed that iam popping out of gears like crazy 1st and 2nd work fine but 3,4,5 pop out everytime i accelerate i took it to a mechanic and he said my gearbox was shot . i been looking to by a new one but i really been looking to rebuild it is there anyone or any place i can get a rebuild kit or can anyone give me some insite where to find a rebuild kit or where to get better gears .
i read on this thread about some spider gears where would i get them and how would them help ?

Your best bet is going to be just to find another tranny.

I bet you can find one for under $300. Just shop around, I am sure you will find one with no problem.

One thing that you should try is to remove the outer cover from the transmission. After that is removed there is a big NUT (24mm I believe) that sits on top of some gears, make sure that it is nice and tight. If you do have to tighten it make sure you get a metal chisel (or something of the sort) and bend the nut into a little (and excuse the terminology) grove thingy. Once you have it apart you will understand. If you need pictures go look on vFaq and look up Tranny Rebuild.
