Ordered some hardware(bolts, washers and a gasket) from SBR to complete my car's new setup...My order came in about a week after i ordered it. When i opened the box i found i was short 4 washers and that I had ordered the worng gasket. I contacted SBR about the mistake, and Jon(SBR) got the washers and the correct gasket out to me the same day, FOR FREE! Even told me to keep the other gasket. I hope this is a sign to come for a turn around in SBR customer service, these guys get a big thumbs up from me!

Are you talking about $10 of hardware? The other thread on SBR is talking about $2000 of workmanship which is screwed up.

Great luck for you!

And you think the pyramids were built in a day too?

This is my 2nd purchase from SBR, the first for a little over $600 and now this one for a little less than $60, both of mine went off without a hitch, shipping was a tad slow on the manifold and stuff, but the service was good both times. $660 isn't 2000 for sure, but it's probably more than a good number of the people doin the bitching.

How much have YOU spent with SBR?
Nothing? Then that's exactly what you should be saying about them.

spent over 1k for one of their turbos. took a crap on me in 2 months but they wouldnt do anything about it. blamed me for it. so i sent it to turbonetics to get it rebuilt but they said its beyond repair and put in one of their center housings so i sold it brand new, its running just fine after 3 yrs in a buddies talon.

i wouldnt consider having someone send 35 cents worth of ace hardware to you next day after forgetting them in the first place a good transaction. Nor would i praise someone for fucking up and fixing their mistake. Id expect them to do it.

Well theyve seem to make good on their 10$ orders, now if theyd be more responsible with their 500$+ orders maybe they wouldnt be so terrible.

Well, I've said this over and over again. Bought about 700-800 dollars worth of parts from them a while ago. Half of it was here the next day, the other half took 2 months.

yea i guess since your $10 investment went so well that it makes SBR's past mistakes all better now and all of that hard earned money magically find its way back into the pockets of those that got the shaft...did they ask you to do this or were you feeling special because you didnt get screwed?

Probably just special ed. on the short bus to SBR.

I'll second that, but it seems as if the "new" dsm crowd likes to get shorted on customer service, quality and parts and that it's ok.

I've bought over $3000 worth of stuff from them everything in my sig plus more including a turbo, ic piping, boost controller, EVERYTHING and guess what NO PROBLEMS and NO DELAYS WITH SHIPMENTS. It always comes on time and that's why they will get a shit ton more business from me!! If you have not ever ordered anything from them keep your yap shut and quit slinging shit.

Seriously...just because you got what you ordered does not mean they can screw other people, stop worrying about yourself ive seen maybe one or 2 good things about SBR and the rest are bad, but since everything seems to be going perfect for you, whats your secret?

I take it you are one of the shit slingers that I had talked about earleir. Go look in the street and find yourself a quarter and then go and buy yourself a clue, and then after you have done that buy something from them and then you can chime in on this thread but intil you do stay out of it and quit slinging shit.
