I just bought a 93 Talon turbo AWD. It has been sitting for about 3 years... the clutch was replaced right before it was put in this guys garage. when you push to clutch pedal to the floor it will not disengage the clutch. If you crawl underneath the slave cylinder is almost at the end of its travel.. when the clutch pedal comes back it doesnt come all the pay up.. if you push on the pin it will pop it up and then there is slack in the shift fork. I replaced the clutch master cylinder as well as the slave cylinder thinking this was the problem. If the clutch disc is stuck to the flywheel how can i get it broke loose?

I would have someone push in on the clutch while you are under the car and make sure that the clutch for is moving. I had a TB fail on me once and the clutch fork would not move at all.

As the disk being stuck, I have no clue how that would happen (due to differnt types of materials).

Did the guy who put the clutch in the car ever drive it after it was installed? If so for how long and did he have any troubles with it?

as for driving it afterwards im not sure... if you look at the fork when someone pushes in the pedal... lets say full travel in 4 inches.....push in the clutch it travel 4 inches... let off and it return 1.5 inches... if you push the fork against the slave cylinder pin it will return the last 2.5 inches but the fork isnt in contact with the clutch any longer

Are you able to push the clutch fork in with your hand?

when you push the fork back to engage position it has slack. no contact with the pressure plate... the first time i went to push in the clutch pedal it was hard and then popped and went to the floor.. where the fork should be fully disengaged the clutch is actually engaged still

and yes i bled the system after i replaced the slave cylinder and master cylinder (because i thought that might be the problem)

That sounds like what would have happended to my car when the TB froze. It ate over half of the meatal away on the pressure plate before finaly the for snapped. I think your only option might be to pull the tranny and scope it out.

Sorry man

YEah it sounds like a thro out bearing. The only dsm ive had sticking in gear broke a spring in the pressure plate and it was stuck in the fingers. But if he jus put a clutch in it its likely that the tb was misinstalled.
