Did you check all the basics? Plenty of fluid in the clutch master, no visible leaks where the rod enters the master, no leaks around the lines/clutch slave, clutch fork ok, slave feed line isn't dried, etc., etc.?

Now that you've "re-aligned" the base of your shifter, have you adjusted your shift linkage accordingly?

no i didnt cuz it was fine for a day and a half so i didnt think it needed it, i thought having to lift up on the clutch a bit had somthing to do with needing a new clutch, but if u think that would work ill try it

well, i really dont know to much as far as drivelind is concerned, but i'm going through a lil delima with my hydraulic system....some of the things i've been told and explained is that the hydraulic sysemt is just pretty much the cylinders and fluid...i would say check the cylinder the way i was told by shep was to lift the car and push the rod back into the cylinder (the slave cylinder) and that you should be able to back into the cylinder with your 2 figures.....i have yet to check it myself but just check that and let us know

as far as the clutch fork....correct me if i'm wrong here guys, but i think he's talking about the the fork that holds the TOB, as to where it is located....i have to no clue

The thing that your clutch slave pushes on is the clutch fork.

Are you sure? There is a little thingy right on the actual clutch pedal to adjust that...is that what you're talking about? That is not where you adjust the clutch pedal height.

It sounds just like you need to adjust the clutch pedal height. Here's the vfaq...I bet this is your problem: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/njdsm2/clutch.html

Make sure once it engages fine that it's not too far out. You can check this by pushing in on the slave cylinder on the tranny. If it's easy to push in you're good, if you can't push it in at all, you need to adjust the pedal back down a little.

yes, adjust your shifter linkage, like i stated earlier.

is this the same as adjusting the clutch pedal?

No. There is adjustable linkage attached to the shifter that connects your shifter to the levers on the transmission that actually switch the gears. Search on how to adjust it.
