I'm running with Eibach Pro and Koni shocks on my GST and was wondering how much a front strut brace would help during fast sweeps.
I'm also a bit concerned about how the brace may fit since there are obstructions on both sides - left: cruise control?, right: air conditioner hose.
Which/How front braces have worked for you?
Also, should I get a rear brace as well?

As far as strut bars for second gen cars, im really un certain of, but from expirience, dont buy Road Race Engineering bars, they are heavy, and they are junk. go to home depot and get some gas line pipe and an ajuster and make one your self, its better than geting one from RRE. I do recommend a Buschur Racing bar.

I have Installed an pilot stut bar in my ride and noticed more tracion in the turns with the petal to the floor I know it made a difference for me, cause I'm allways hauling ass In the turns under power, and as far as room goes Its not a problem with the hoses and cables it's tight but it will fit.

The biggest problem with this is that it is a matter of opinion. Personally the RRE bars IMHO is the best out there, For a 2 G the lower frame need support and they sell lower tie bar. it's nothing more then a bar made flat with 2 holes in it to tie the left and right lower frame together. When used with a upper bar this boxes in the front end making it a lot more stiffer and cutting down a great deal on body roll and frame flex.
A rule of thumb with bars is this. the bar shouldn't flex at ALL. grab the bar and YANK with all you can give =-) if the car moves and the bar doesn't it's doing it's job. 99.9% of the bar sold flex first. RRE Bars don't. As for what DSM Storm said yes they are heavy but they don't flex one bit. The pipe he is talking about I can not comment on B/C I have never seen one using that stuff but the idea is the same. As for a RRE bars junk?? I totally disagree with that. I think they are the best built bar you can BUY not to say that you couldn't make a better one. The weight is not a HUGE difference. As for BR's bar again I can not comment as far as I know we was selling some cheap POS $90 bar last I saw but then again I don't buy from there.
The Gas line pipe may work if you want to give it a shot post about it and let us know but if you just want to buy something that fits and works the way it should RRE sells the strongest bar
Yes get a rear bar also. if you don't you will have that fun feeling of the front staying down and the rear rolling.
