I was wondering if anyone has tried the Suspension techniques springs. I have heard some good things so far. I would like to use them with new KYB GR-2s. They drop between 1 and 1.5 inches.
Thanks

I cant complain. I've had them for years now on a FWD 2G. I'd probably want something a little stiffer now but their rates are nearly identicle to the Eibach Pro-Kit springs (the AWD versions are anyway). With stock shocks they will lower your car down to sportline style lowering. Once I added KYB AGX struts the front end raise up to the expected 1.3" drop. The rears are a little lower (it didn't raise much with the new stuts). They ride and handle good but they're not a substitute for anti-sway bars. Roll is still excessive (as will most streetable springs be without bars)

You are getting two sets for the price of one? I can use the fronts cant I? Just not the rears?

I don't recomend ST springs when it comes to makeing the car handle better. They are more for looks than anything.
If you want the looks of a lowered car but don't care as much about the way it handles then they are the spring for you.
They are too soft and too low for my recomendations.
How much do you really know about ST springs? ST springs are no lower than Eibach Pro-kits. Eibach sportsline, H&R, Intrax and Sprint are all lower than ST springs (their only a 1.3" drop with proper struts). All ST sport spring rates are 10-15% stiffer than stock which is all ANY sport spring are. Even most so called race springs (like H&R race, ST speedtech springs and Lightspeed for u honda people are only 30% or less stiffer than stock). There too soft because ALL sport springs are too soft for any hardcore racing. They are not too soft for street driving and are too stiff for stock struts (read bouncing and bottoming out on bumps). That said with my KYB AGX struts set at 3 (out of 4) up front and 6 (out of 8) in back, ride with the ST springs is no worse than any 2G with just springs (and no bouncing, floating or bottoming even on large bumps). Body roll is still there (barely) at full tilt driving but compared to a stock 2G (or one with just springs I'm still flat at speeds that would have them wolloping on there sides and understeering (I know because that was me before the struts). So I must disagree. With proper damped struts the combination of ride and handling couldn't be better. Just dont settle for just springs because NONE of them will do you much good alone in overall handling.
