Do you guys make a heat shield for 16g turbos as well?

Do you mean a heatshield for the turbine housing on a 16g? This heatshield will work with most turbos....

The turbo you are using doesn't effect the heat shield that mounts to the exhaust manifold.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant the O2 housing heat shield, not the one that goes over the exhaust manifold.

I assume you know this, but the stocker will bolt right up to any 16g. Unless you have the gt 16g. Not sure on that one.

No sorry, we only make the manifold heatshield.
Thanks,

Yeah, but it looks pretty nasty compared to a nice looking upper shield, and I'm all about aesthetics. :D I was hoping to be able to find a matching lower shield for the pretty upper one. I think I'll have to try taking my sand blaster to my lower shield and hitting it with some uber high-temp paint.

Just made the purchase for that heat shield. Should match the engine bay nicely, now that I put the stock Mani. back on

Do yourself a favor.
Buy the Eastwood Hi-temp (I think they claim "porcelin") silver paint. However , before you try to paint it, sandblast the turbine/o2, and then heat it before applying the 1st coat.
I typically heat the manifold pretty hot with a MAP Gas torch, then lay a light coat of the paint on it (heavy will boil and make it rough). If you have to give it a second light coat to get full coverage, wait about 5 minutes. After you have a light coat on there that's fully coating it, let it cool, then put a decent wet coat on the pieces. Then get the parts up to running temp as soon as possible (within reason).
The initial "hot coat" will be very dull, but will bake on and adhere really well.
If you don't clean it and back it on, and just decide to "spray it on whatever way", don't be surprised when it flakes off in big pieces. The parts I do this way have lasted for years unless subjected to carb cleaner or something of the like--the ones in the beginning that I tried, flaked off as soon as a stiff breeze hit it and looked like crap.
Looks great with a mirror polished JM Fab manifold heat shield, and JNZ SS studs and nuts. ;)

Awesome, thanks for the tip. Hopefully I'll be able to get to this in the next few weeks. I'll post some pictures of how it turns out when it's done.

Honestly very few people run the lower heat shields anyway. It wouldn't make too much sense IMO to put the work into a part that would sell so slowly.

The lower shield is just a PITA anytime you want to remove the turbo IMO. I would definately jump on one of these manifold heat shields if I didnt already have an AMS heat shield that cost a ton more.

wouldn't not running a lower heat shield destroy your alternator??

No, there isn't a timing belt cover available at this time.

Ok so i ordered one ( thanks so much for going the extra mile answering emails btw!!).
My question is, i saw there was an option for having your "braket" installed or not.
I assume that was the hoist hook bracket. I remember reading a long time ago that removing that bracket would eventually cause a burn hole in the timing cover, right above/behind the ps bracket. Or is this not the case?

I'd love to know how these myths get started.
Abridged answer: No.

I'm buying an SBR cast manifold will it work with this heat shield?
GSXtreme

If the SBR cast manifold has all of the same external dimenions of the stock manifold, then there shouldnt be any fitment issues. I have not personally tried the heatshield on the SBR manifold.
