I had a 1G Eprom ECU that would not even power up due to EXTENSIVE acid damage to many circuits on the board. Sent it to Steve at Applied Computer Tech. to see if it could be repaired and socketed.

Got it back today and holy crap! the work is incredible. I had another Eprom ECU already socketed to compare to and the one from Steve is perfect! He provides a list of diagnostic tests and repairs that were applied and is VERY email friendly. Put up with a bunch of stupid questions from me.

Prices and rates are lower than you would expect from Top-notch service (at least from my experience)I am sending him another ECU this week. I recommend him to anyone with repair or socketing needs.

His website is listed below

I too have a great results with Steve, and will be sending all of my ECUs to him in the future. I had mine socketed as well and he did an excellent job. I also received an extensive list of all the work done. Fantastic!

Steve's a great guy to do business with. We had our 1g ECU socketed by him a while back, and he cleaned up a bit of trace damage to the ECU from a previous cap-replacement-gone-bad. Turnaround time couldn't have been better: I drove the ECU over to him one evening, then drove over the next to pick it up. :D
