Hi. "I've been looking for coilovers for my 94 eclipse and all i could find were dss and ground control but i beleive that Weapon R has just come out with some new coilover for 1G dsm's I'm probobly gonna buy these. I dont think there as much for performance as they are foor looks but i was wondering if anyone knows anything about these and/or has any opinions. If so feel free to e-mail me or simply respond. If you have any questions about them i'll fill ya in if and when i get them on my car. thank you

They called me yesterday and told me about them. We will be selling them.
They are a double spring set up. They are set up for LOWERING THE CAR ONLY!! They have crazy spring rates to keep the car from bottoming, but use a soft helper spring to make it ride OK. I haven't tried them on a car, but they should be fine for the purpose that they are inteded for.
My kit is still the only kit made just for racing.
The WR kit lists for $375, my kit is $425.
Their kit lowers the car between 1-3.5" my kit only lowers the car 1-1.5" I have recomended ride hights for my kit and I recomend they are used.

RUN AWAY!! You don't want those pieces of crap. I broke 2 sets of them before giving up. I'm not sure what strut they were made to be used on but I had them on the blue tokicos and they didn't even fit on the stock spring perch. They are supposed to sit on the stock perch but instead, the strut was to fat for it to slide all the way down on. I ran around on those for a week and in that short time, the soft crappy threaded part forced itself down the strut and mangled it to the point of the perch no longer being adjustable. I called WR and they said it was my fault. So I ordered new perches, made sure I installed EXACTLY as they said and what do you know? They broke again.. Leo never did a damn thing for me over there either and basically refused to believe they were broken even after I sent in pics of them being mangled and unadjustable. I would stay away from that crap as a user and a vendor. What sucks is all the honduh boys want them so I'm even considering stocking them... I don't want to, but demand is kinda forcing me to..

I too have heard nothing but bad things about the Weapon R coil-overs. I have heard that they just fall apart and mangle the struts in the process. I would stay away from them~!

Anything with "R" in it should be left for the Honda boys.

I only recomend them to people that want to be like honda boys/girls. I will put them in my new, not yet made, accesory section.
(which, unfortunatly is where the $$ is)
And we all know you can't get rich by selling the best parts for the price of the cheap ones, like I'm trying to do.
