Congratulations to Keith Laforte for running a personal best of 10.1@140 (while in his terms: "bouncing off of the rev-limiter in every gear") his first trip to the track with a JM Fabrications Sheetmetal Intake Manifold.

The car still has a lot left in it.

Congrats, Bean!

Now, let's see those 9s that you know the car has in it!!

I wouldn't go that far yet. However, Bean is one of the nicest guys in the scene, and has been a good friend for years. I was just happy that the manifold worked out well for him. We have dyno results with the new intake manifold on his car, but need him to e-mail a cleaner scan to put up on the site.

We're just happy that he made more power with the manifold then the sheetmetal intake manifold that he was running before (which will go un-named). I' m not saying that the JM manifold is "better", but for less money, I'm glad to see that it puts down more power on some setups.

With the old setup, he put 630 whp down, and 460 ft/lbs. With this setup, he put 660 whp down, and---555 ft/lbs. of torque. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, was still putting down 630 whp @ 8000 rpms. ;-)

This was the 1st dyno session with the car, and in his words "There's still timing left in there by far!".

If anyone else knows Keith, you know that he's worked hard on this car over the years trying new things. It's nice to see that it's paying off due to his hard work.

Did I mention the car weighs in at 3100+?

Judas Priest  Has he thought of gutting/lightening it? I assume it's caged already?

I got rid of my GS-T and GSX knowing what I was doing.. the RS is the slowest thing I've ever driven but it's doing what I bought it for (reliability). With those kinda numbers you gave us up there I'll definitely be going with that intake mani. on my next turbo DSM :) Congrats x2 again.

It isn't a shop car of ours only sporting one of our products on its way to a best ever ET and power production number.

Congrats man!

The HP is impressive, but not nearly as much as the gain in torque! 95ft/lbs! :O

You can buy the manifold through either one of us.

Check in the vendor's section under JNZ Tuning/JM Fabrications

Introductory pricing is still in effect @ $450.

I saw on another board that his head was also ported when the SMIM was changed.
