I went to install my new ARP Head Studs this weekend and was having some issues with one bolt, no matter how many times I cleaned the block's threads it would not screw all of the way down like the others. I finally looked and to my amazement the stud was not threaded all of the way (its missing almost 4 threads).

I finally got time today to call ARP and ask them if I could just retap it. As soon as I asked he said "NO!!, bad idea. Hold on for one second". I was then put on hold for less than a minute. When the customer service rep got back on the line and without asking any other questions he took my name/address and said that he would rush me out a new one. The only thing that he asked is that I send back the stud and box that it came in (via COD). Which I'm assuming to see what machine it came from or what-not.

I just wanted to give props to ARP for good customer service when they know something is wrong and did not try to weasel their way out of it.
