its total crap, i wont be buying from them again.
i ordered a act 2600 clutch from them on saturday. they called me monday and left a voice mail saying that they would not be able to ship to a different address from the credit card, (card goes to work, i wanted it to go to my house), so i called them back 16 mins later and said that was ok i understand. the guy that i talked to on the phone told me that it would go out monday and said it should be here on wed no later than thursday. so wed comes around and the ups man has nothing. was like ok they said latest thursday. about 15 mins later extremepsi calls and is like hey you never returned our call. is it ok to ship to the cards address. I told him that i called back about 15 mins after tehy left the message and taht the guy i talked to said it would go out monday be here on wed. so i was like ok so what are you going to do about it since it is your companys fault that you told me it would be here today and you still havent shipped it. The guy i talked to said that he would have it out wed but it wouldnt be there till monday. I said that i needed it here by saturday since its the only thing keeping my car apart. He said there was nothing he could do unless i wanted to pay express shipping on it.
Long story short.
there in house communication sucks, and they wont work with you in any way to correct THEIR mistake.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!
and yes i know that everyone else thinks that they are good but, and i wouldnt have said a thing if they workd with me to get it here on sat but now i have to wait untill the following weekend to get my car going again.

Is there any way they would eat the charge for express due to the miscommunication?
This might be the first bad thing I've heard about extremepsi.

no, he said that the only "free" shipping is ground and they claim that i never called them back.
they only reason that i went with them is because ive heard so much about how good they are. im a dealer for prostreet. and it would have been cheaper to go through them, but i wouldnt have had it till next week. from them it would have been 352 shipped but i wouldnt have gotten it til the 10th

Since you are a dealer for Prostreet. You of most people should understand that shit happens. I bought things from them and never had an issue. I think you need to calm down and stop typing so fast. Reading your review gave me a headache. You know what! It was nice of them to take their time to call you about the shipping issue. Most companies will not ship it to an alternate adress.

This is a B.S. review. Such precautions (by vendors) are neccessary especially dealing with credit cards. RRE would have told you to hit the road if you wanted the shipment shipped elsewhere other than the cc billing add. You are fortunate you actually had a vendor who communicated with you in this situation. Read other "bad" reviews in this forum and you'll that you're bitching about something so trivial. Shit happens.
I think they have extremely good prices and the free ground shipping rocks. I haven't heard of a legitimate complaint on EXTREME PSI yet.

I agree completely. Anyone can steal someones identity and charge an enormous amout of money onto a credit card nowadays. Having the product shipped to the card's address is the safest way for everyone. It keeps the vender out of hot water for the most part.

Yeah I too completely agree with diambo and the others. I've placed over a dozen orders with ExtremePsi and I've never had any problems I would consider bad enough to not return. I had some slowed packages, big deal. Hell I think this is one of the first complaint threads I've EVER seen for ExtremePSI.
As a buyer you should know what they did is standard business practice. You should have known better then to try to have them ship to a non verified address.
What you need to do is call your credit card company and request them to add your home address as a verified shipping address. This is something they can do and a lot of people request it. Then you won't run into this problem next time.
As for them saying you didn’t call back, shit happens. These guys are busy trying to fill orders, give support etc and some times communication lines get crossed and things get a little fubar'ed.
Hey at least you got your package, right?

like i said i understand that they couldnt ship to another address. thats not my problem, my problem is that, THEY told me on monday it would be here on wed. wed comes they havent shipped it and they say its my fault. that is my problem. I would have also under stood if they could have gotten it to me on saturday. it probbly would have cost them about 5 bucks more. and im about to buy a turbo and manifold, o well i guess ill take my money elsewhere
me being a dealer is i buy stuff for myself my brother and one friend. thats it.

I have never had any problems with EXTREME. I bought a Turbo XS Dual Stage, Fuel pump, and a couple of little things through them. They got me the product within five business days, just like it states. I paid with a credit card on one of the orders and the other one was paid for with a Debit. Maybe you had a BAD experience, would you like a tissue? You must understand their reason for the problem.
EXTREME still has my vote for being a good company.

I am glad you are taking your business somewhere else :) . They don't need people like you. Who complains about a small complication like this. Or try go give a good vendor a bad name. They are busy people. Like I said be glad they called you. There is only two vendor I will deal with on this board and one of them is Extreme PSI  .

I know it can be frustrating at times when you really need your shit on time. It's happened to me more than I'd like and will continue to, trust me. You have to understand that some of these vendors have just too many orders coming in daily and can't handle the load. They either need to hire more honest and good people or have to step up their business skills. I understand that once a vendor has your money it can be hard to get what you want once shit gets f'd up. You've all read the horror stories on some of these vendors. I personally have NO complaints with ExtremePSI, but than again I've had my share of complaints with vendors who people swear that are good. So it all depends.
In conclusion, Find a vendor that you like and stick with them. There's no sense in shopping around. It just leaves you to be more prone to a bad transaction.
If you need stuff shipped to an alternate address you simply have to call your CC company and tell them you want your alternate address added so things can be shipped to it. Problem solved.

I live in PA, and i have ordered thousands and thousands of dollars of parts from extrmepsi. If i ordered a part that isnt in stock i get a phonecall within 1 minute of placing my order letting me know its out of stock.
I also get my parts THE NEXT DAY.. They are wonderful and it sounds like this story is a fluke, or a big misunderstading.

Well, it sounds like it was part of the problem and some people aren't aware that they could do as much so I was just trying to be helpful.

I dont think he is mad about them not shipping to his home address. What he is pissed about was that he called them and told them to send it to his work address and then he got a call a couple of days later from them saying that he never called them. Instead of working with him to get the part to his house when they first told him it would be there they just said tough shit it will be there next monday. Thats what he is pissed about.

OMG a 3 day delay, stuff happens, most of these venders are very busy, i would understand if it was like a 2 week delay. do you have the name of the person you talked to on the phone, maybe you shoudl complain about them.
3 days isnt really something to complain about, it sounds like you dont order many parts.

In my opinion - I'm in favor for Extreme, but I'm not going to ass thrash you like everyone else. I think this is an opportunity for you to hear of all the good experiences that people have had with the company.
I can see how you would be upset, and I'm assuming that this was your first purchase from Extreme. Hell were does everyone think "the first impression is the most important" came from. I think its a little low to be telling this guy to take his money else where and to learn how to order parts!
I think there was definitely a miscommunication between you and Extreme....AND misunderstanding between your thread and other users. As you can see tons of people have bought from them for years with positive feedback. I say, if you're going to be building your car up, they are a very useful source. Give 'em another try!!!

Very good points. I have ordered dozens of times from Extreme PSI..i got everything within 2 days of order..the right parts..the right quality..and excellent customer service. I have built my car up and extreme psi plays a huge factor of where i am because majority of the parts are from extremepsi. The thread starter had a bad experience with them..his first experience with them...i can only say to give them another shot.
