I am about a week (maybe two) from finally getting my car back on the road, I'm rebuilding from a failed balance shaft bearing and a many other small random faults (probably resulting from this bearing splintering through out my engine). I just wanted to briefly stop by and comment on the companies that I've dealt with in the past month.

Buschur Racing - [Oil pump; Piston Rings; 1G BOV] These guys rock, very professional. Early on in my rebuild I thought it would be a good time to upgrade my BOV to the 1G (im saving for an HKS when I go to the 6 bolt) It was simple and quick to order this from their site. When I got this BOV it was already assembled with the gasket in place ready to install on the spot (which I did)!
Buschur was the only place I found that carried the oil pump/gears (and lower front case) for my 2G GSX which really saved me from the dealership. The pump came fully assembled with everything in place and torqued to spec, all I had to do was pack the oil pump with petrolium jelly and I was ready to go.
These guys called me at home to be certain as to which Piston Rings sizes I needed before they sent my order, the exact rings arrived with the oil pump.
They did have this order to my door right on time.
Thanks guys, I'm glad there are still people who take pride in their work, I will definately continue business with you.

DSM Parts Specialists - [Balance Shaft Elimination kit] I love shopping for items here, they always have a competitive price and their site is easy (fun) to navigate. I've ordered a couple of parts from the guys in the past (B&M short throw shifter, shifter bushings) so it was a no brainer going with them again. As usual my order arrived FAST with everything ready to rock. Thank you, I enjoy ordering from you, its like christmas.

MACH V Motorsports - [7-bolt crank with main bearings; full enginge gasket kit] I was so glad I was able to find the 7 bolt crank here, another savior from the dealership (I suppose they'll have to save their vasoline for some one else). I've done business with MACH V before, I enjoy the many pictures their site has and the desctiptions give a good amount of information. Earlier on in my rebuild I had ordered my lifters from them I think they were around $11-$12 each (under $200) versus the dealership wanted $500+ for the set!!! Because of this I had no problem ordering their crank and gasket rebuild kit. The only problem I had was the site showed this crank listed as in stock although it was on order which took about 2 weeks longer then I had expected. When I called them they explained that it was ordered and would be to me as soon as possible, and true to their word it was here later that week including ALL main bearing AND connection rod brearings. The crank is soild although I needed to polish the oil ports for rough surface. When I mounted the crank, torqued it to spec and rotated it once by hand then removed it to check for any bearing wear there were fine lines on the bearings from the oil ports on the crank. Five minutes of polishing took care of that (remember if you polish it yourself, to blow out/clean every oil port in the crank before re-installing it!) The gasket kit arrived promptly and has everything I need and more! Thanks for providing many hard to get items for DSMs!

Wish me luck on finishing this project and thank you all very much.
