i Have a 97 spyder gs 2.4 and was wondering if a short shifter for a 95-99 eclipse 2.0 will fit on my car. In addition i am looking to increase the horespower and torque of my car but cannot find anything. I have caqtback exhaust and intake thats it. i cant find headers or anything. I was thinking internally but cant find cams or anything on that. If u have any more ideas or any sites where these parts can be purchased please post thank you

Yes the shifter assembly is the same. Bolt up a turbo package and have some real fun.

Agreed, the similarities between the 4G64 and 4G63 allow for easy... EASY DIY turbo kits. Everything from the 4G63T engine bolts on. You can use stock DSM turbo hardware. Or run an NA setup with higher compression pistons cams ect. I still have an AEM adjustable gear for a 4G64. They make it. You're not looking. ;)
You can also swap over to the DOHC head from a 4G63... for a smidge more power. You have a TON of possibilities.

^ these guys know your motor and the 4G63 like the back of their hand. Also the common parts to swap ect. Its all been done before. ;)
I used to look at the 2.4 4G64 like I started at a disadvantage too... until I turned the glass upside down and went... oh gee, I already have the bottom end for my 2.4L turbo engine... ;)

Take a look at my website as well. Just about ANY google searching for 4G64 would have brought it up.
http://4g64.150m.com
There is a whole section on turbo'ing a 4G64, and a seperate section on just performance modifications.
Would probably be a good idea to joing the 4G64 message group as well. There is a link on my site.

I have eclipse spyder gst with the A/T.This is a great car but when I hit the gas it goes on neutral and I have to let go of the gas so the gears can catch back on. What could this be?
