I've had my Eibach Sportlines on my 90 AWD, with KYB AGX struts front and rear for about 2 months now. Installation is straigtforward. You don't even need a spring compressor to do the fronts. with the springs and shocks installed it dropped the car about 1.8" even. With 205/40/17 tires there is about a 2" fender gap.
The ride is pretty smooth in front. Small bumps are felt, but no harsh. There is very little suspension travel in the front even with bumpstops trimmed 1 1/2". It's not a problem except with really big bumps. Then the suspension bottoms, but still very controlled.
Out back the ride is stiffer, but with alot more travel. It is very hard to bottom out the rear. Even at the AGX's softest setting its stiff. It's not bad though, just very firm.
Yes, the car is now low. I know fear big speedbumps and any big dips. You have to be careful not to scrape if driving fast around town. The only thing I scrape are the hanger mounts for my 3" exhaust, and the 4" tip of my Magnaflow. not a big deal to me.
Overall I like the setup. I had H&R's before but I couldn't hand the huge fender gap with 17's. They offered more travel, and are better around town. The tradeoff is worth it to me with the sportline/AGX combo. The car has got to look the part, at least for me. Oh, the car handles great. It has very little body roll and it corners like crazy. If you get low profile tires with 17's I highly reccomend this kit. If you don't mind a big fender gap, get the ProKit or H&R kit. Otherwise get the Sportlines. As for the AGX's, I like them, but I would get koni's for the front because they increase travel by 1". Overall, much better than stock.

Which H&R springs did you have? The oem ones, sport, or race? I'm planning on getting the Sports which supposedly lowers it 1.7" fronts and 1.4" rears. I also like the lowered look and don't like the big gaps. If you had the sports, maybe I should consider the Sportlines instead..or the H&R Race springs. Thanks for the info.

The H&R's I had were the sport models. For a 1G the drop the car 1". For 2G's the drop is different. It does actually lower the car 1" also. If I had a 2G I wouldn't get the sportlines from Eibach. From what I've read they are too low. Its different for 1G's, the drop isn't as much of an issue. I would consider the H&R sports for your ride. They drop alot more than for a 1G. I was very happy with their ride. Firm, but not bouncy. Plenty of travel. You may also consider a set of coilovers. Don't go cheap on them. I tried a set of Focuz coilovers, and they are crap. Just trust me on this. A real nightmare to get rid of the clanking, shifting alignment......
Good luck.
