4G64 Distributor match problem...help?

I have a 1995 (May) Mitsu Galant S from Japan with the 4G64 engine.

In 1998, the distributor shaft broke suddenly. Fortunately I was right next to a garage and pushed it in.

They told me the problem and replaced the distributor...I think...

The housing has the Mitsu part number T6T58271, but no cap or rotor ever seem to fit...I have been doing the buy and return boogie for 3 weeks now...

I cannot remember where I got the last cap and rotor, but no "new" parts seem to fit and all the autoparts stores seem to stock the same ones.

I know there are 3 manufacture runs of the 1995 - Jan thru May (US and Japan), June only (US only) and July thru Dec (US and Japan).

Does anyone know what to do??? I cannot seem to find the right cap and the right rotor???

Sine you have a JDM, it's likely not correct.... have you been keeping track of the P/N's you've bought? the site also has a P/N search...
