Injen intake 2G turbo

Nice polished aluminum pipe with a short round, K and N. it looks very nice under the hood in addition to smothing out flow between the turbo and MAS. Comes with red or blue vacuum hoses. The pipe has no dump tube, so you don't have to worry about doing the "cut dump tube mod". Being close to alot of heat, the pipe will stain easily. My pipe has some spots where drops of coolant have cooked in, so it no longer looks new. I'm thinking about getting it powder coated red.

I just bought the injen intake two days ago from altered atmosphere. it was pretty easy to install considering that this is the first thing i've ever installed and also my first mod.(just bought a used 97 gsx)After installing the unit i left the hood opened and reved the engine alittle, WOW, that thing really sucks air. Took it out for a spin and man u can really hear the engine sucking air, and the bov sounds sooo cool, i love it. it seems to be a little quicker. and i noticed that in b/w shifts seems like the turbo stays spooled or something b/c the power seems to pick up alittle faster, don't know if this is true, still new to this whole thing, but i love it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an intake. plus it looks mean as hell under the hood.

I think the power picks up faster b/c there is so much less resistance to air flow. Plus there is no dump tube protruding into the jet stream of air. Why did they ever make that idiotic dump tube anyway?? When you install an upgraded BOV and intercooler pipe, you will notice an even bigger difference than you did with your Injen intake.

This was the first mod I bought for my 99 GS-T. I went to A local show in LA and saw what everybody else was using. And decided to purchase it. What A differance and it's smog legal too.
