The RRE rear strut tower bar cost me $89 shipped. RRE's customer service was great, they've always had an answer, not an excuse.
The bar itself is a nice piece that is powder coated a gray metallic color that practically matches my gray interior. You will have to cut slots/holes in the rear hatch side panels to facilitate installation. The nuts on the strut tower actually fit inside of the bar's mounting "lugs." It mounts to one bolt at each side. You may also have to trim the lip of the strut tower cover boot a little bit to put it back on. Very easy install.
I was actually surprised to feel such a huge improvement in overall handling! It is not as much of an improvement as the front STB that I have. But still awesome...It makes the driver feel as if the rear of the car reacts much faster to the front of the car. I had never noticed a sloppy "follow" before. I don't think anybody would tend to notice this "looseness" until it is gone. But, when it's gone it is a great thing to feel the difference in high speed handling with this bar.
Now, I do alot of high speed curvy highway driving up here; but I would recommend this bar to anybody that is interested in improving handling. Also, this was the cheapest rstb that I could find for my '91.
