With the new additions to the shop (Automatic Parts Washer/Bead Blast Cabinet) we're taking on jobs of that nature as well.
Most of the people who have gotten work done here know how I'm a clean freak. Doesn't matter if you will never see that trans case....I want it looking like new before it goes out the door.
After playing with both new toys extensively, we're now offering parts cleaning along with everything else. I'll have pictures (examples) to follow tomorrow, but after doing a few heads in the parts washer, and transmission casings in the parts washer then bead blasting, these things come out looking like new! I was actually shocked at how clean they came out.
I also did a few valve covers. We all know that bead blasting is a big no-no on these as you can't get the abrasives out from under the baffling effectively. So, I popped a couple of them in there, and they come out spotless, even under the baffles!
I'm gonna start out VERY affordable on this aspect, as I'd like to have these machines pay some of the expenses back to me over the long-haul.
So, if you're looking to re-do a valve cover, transmission, head, etc., give us a shout for a cheap quote. It'll save a ton of time in the long run.
