hm....not sure what car you are dropping it into from ur post but, i dont think its just going to drop right in. your going to have difficulties with everything being backwards. For some reason they have the cam gears and everything switched for tha evo.

I'm sure if the bolt patterns were the same someone would have discovered it by now, but the 420a is a very capable motor, and the trans is well engineered to take the abuse of turbocharging.

The engine mounts will no doubt be in the wrong place on your chassis. These motors aren't compatible with the 4g63 series, evo or not.

well that pic i put up is of the 4g and the motor will sit in the same way all of the mounts are the same thats a jdm evo 1 motor so they are different then the usdm motors but before i get 3800$ motor i want to make sure my tranny will work i know i might have to move some suff

Not even close... The 420a is a chrysler engine... the 4G64 is Mitsubishi.

oh i found out that motor will work chrysler engines are Mitsubishi. but any way i called the place im getting it from and they said the only thing i have to do for the swap is get lancer wireing and ecu so im waiting for it to come in when i get it done ill post all the pics of the work but thanks for the help guys

you are screwing yourself.. that motor wont work in a 420a... i dont care what the place said.
