Okay I've noticed a large influx of NW DSMer's on here lately, and am wondering how many of you guys would like to hit up the Street legal drags at Woodburn as a large group. I only got up there once last year and it was dissapointing, not ONE DSM or Evo!

The date I have in mind is **June 16th** This is a FRIDAY of finals week. I believe runs start at 3:30 and go till around 8 or 9 I think. I will check and edit this post if its not. I'm not planning on organizing any dinner afterwards, if someone wants to do that go ahead :).

The place is really easy to find directions are here (http://www.woodburndragstrip.com/index_files/Page349.htm)

I'd like people to post in here if they are planning on going, I'd also like to get (hopefully) several cruises TO the dragstrip going, maybe a meet spot in Eugene, then salem, something from Washington, whatever. Any ideas for a meet afterwards or anything post here too.

Paul

maybe Pacific Raceways would be closer for some people (me) lol

i've been dying to meet up with some dsmrs at the strip. I'm sooo jealous of the buscher meet in ohio.

If we could set up a meet at PIR I would be down with that. For me it would have to be a saturday night since I am working out of town for the next two months and will only be in town on sat and sun. There is quite a few local dsm owners in this area and If someting was setup local I could probable talk to a local dsm shop to help spread the word.

Most of the big name DSM guys in the area race at either Renegade Raceways (Yakima, WA) and Portland Int. Raceway (PIR) as they are the most well prepped tracks in the area for hooking up.

There are a few DSMer's here in Salem that are looking for a chance to meet up with others.. Plenty of DSM's, CSM's and 3S's.. Get this shiz figured out.. We'll roll either Woodburn or PIR..

So I take it no one wants to do a meet or is everyone just upset about the weather?

it's not much to race, cheaper than PIR anyways, and the woodburn track is on average a full tenth of a second faster, problem is they aren't real import friendly, and many days they are open are stictly for bracket or hot rod/domestic/funny car races, as long as we know we are going on a day we'll be welcome and all be able to get runs in i'm definately down.

and yeah it's real easy to get there, if anyone has never been and lives in the portland or surrounding area we can cruise down together.

i think at least 4 or 5 guys from my team would come too, which would include a few evo's

im diffently down I think we should all go out to PIR cuz they are more import friendly ive been to woodburn and I dunno there not really import friendly...plus PIR is cheaper i believe to run or watch, and a lot more imports go to PIR than woodburn so better chance's to see more DSM's would be PIR. Plus I was there couple weeks ago and there was a evo running 10's..pretty sweet!. Just let me know time and date and im down!.
