To curtail the number of new posts made on this subject, here is the breakdown of how post counts work here.
Post whoring is an abominable offense on any forum. Only a few are guilty, but the damage has been done in the past so now everyone must suffer. :) Therefore we have stripped all users the ability of frivolously increasing their post counts unless the posts they make contribute to the board in some way.
Posts made in the following forums DO NOT count toward your displayed post count and user rank:
Newbies
Kill Stories
Lounge
DSM Pix
DSM Vids
Moderators' Rides
