10 sec 95 GSX vs. 11 sec Evo

95gsx is full weight including a/c, 17inch low profile kumhos, stock trans with 97xxx miles, roll bar, 2.3l, fp3575, no nos.

Evo had a Garrett turbo (50 trim or bigger) but not sure about the complete setup.

2g went 10.83@133 and the evo went 11.7@115, that's right, 115.

Was that at Englishtown? I ask because that Green EVO used to runs 10s... and hte guy who owned it sold it to a kid who works at Turbotrix.... it had a GT35R setup and it went 10s@130+. I dont know why it was going that slow

what block did he use for the stroker setup?

6 bolt. A stroker is a 2.0l with the 4g64 2.4l crank whereas a 2.4l is the complete 2.4l block.

Yeah that's the kid from turbotrix...he was having issues with it and he is selling it now cause he said it cost too much to maintain.

I was at Englishtown this past weekend for the NHRA event and saw this car. I was looking for the owner so I could look under the hood after seeing the 10 sec. pass. Nice 2G guys, I was very impressed.

hahaha you guys from to and from Philly, thats crazy.

That car is good for more,... a couple runs, I think I remember him having trouble getting into 2nd but still running good times.

Does that car have a new paint job by any chance?

I know the front bumper was painted but not sure about the rest of the car.

He ran 2 10 sec passes in the 2 qualifying rounds on saturday but he was having trouble going into 2nd gear on sunday.
