Chicago Northern suburbs mechanic needed

Hey, i am looking at a 98 Tsi awd thats in Evanston off dempster road. I want to get it checked by a mechanic before i buy it but i dont have any experience with any shops around there because i live in naperville. Does anybody know a good shop/mechanic in the area?

Naperville has some of the best mechanics i know, ask around if sum1 will check it out wit u give them like $50 and buy them lunch or sumthin.
