That mini battery tray is badass. I may have to order one. Are there any plans for that sweet intercooler piping in the picture as well?

Id like to do a nice intercooler piping kit for the EVO's, just dont know how soon it will be done. I usually post up new parts as they are released. Thanks for the compliments.

I'd be highly interested in one as well for a 1g!!! I'm wanting to route my intercooler piping like nukefission's (diary of a rebuild). I'm going to need a small battery and a way to mount it. I'm not wanting to mount the battery in the hatch. I'd like to mount the smaller battery to the firewall. Either up high in the same general area the battery sits now or where the charcoal canister used to sit (directly under the current battery location. If the latter I'd use battery terminals that connect and disconnect at the flip of a lever (marine terminals ?) so tools arent' needed to disconnect the battery especially if the upper intercooler pipe is going to possibly be in the way.

Could you post the dimensions of the battery? Please. I took out my battery and tray to do some measuring to see if there is room where the charcoal canister used to be. The measurements are useless without the size of the battery. Thanks.

Those dimensions sound like they'll fit just fine on the rear crossmember. The area where the charcoal canister used to be. Now I only need a way to mount it. ;) Hint. Hint. Any kind of time frame on the DSM battery kit?

I could probably have them finished in a few weeks, but I think I would prefer to make something that sits tight against the fender in the stock battery location, since not everyone gets rid of the charcol canister. It might be a little more cost affective, it will still look nice and free up a lot of room.

I completely understand about making it for people that will buy it the most. Some people still have to pass emissions. I think a super small battery like that where you are talking about still might allow me to do what I want to do. I'll have to do some brainstorming and possibly talk to nukefission about his setup. Can you also let me know how much that little guy (battery) weighs? You can count me in on one no matter what! :) Thanks.
Afterthought: Could you possibly make both? The charcoal canister one could be for the racers that don't have to worry about emissions, and also need all the space they can get. I would imagine that there are quite a few 1Gs out there that are dedicated racers or spend 90% of their time apart or on the racetrack. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks again for all of your hard work and coming up with new products for our aging toys.

I've been making the battery relocations for down on the crossmember for quite some time now. I'll have to look at my design for them and see if Jimmy wants to help make it a little more "production" instead of building one from scratch each time.

Hey Josh, do you have any pics of this that you could share? Any chance you might have one available for purchase too? :)

 x 10! That looks great! My DSM is out of commission right now (big surprise) and probably will be for a while. However, this is going to be one of my first purchases when its ready to run again. I was really shocked to see the update in my inbox. I'm really glad that this kit is now available. Great looking kit.

Hey this looks badass and i think i will probably want one do you make this where you don't have to remove the charcoal canister, oem tray, and other misc stuff? Pm me nukefission or gsxtreme, this looks badass and props at your skills.

Hehe, you can PM Nukefission but he has nothing to do with these. :D
The version you see mounts down on the subframe so you will need to remove those parts. This is the only version sold at this time.
