I have seen two on Supras because I suppose one couldn't expel enough air but my lord that is beyond overkill...

I've seen two on extreme motorsports' 8 second talon, It makes approx. 1000 hp, thats why it uses two. But a honda with 3? Thats like almost $600 in BOV. He should have donated the extra money to the poor, atleast the money would have went to good use. :chair:

Look just enough bov's to write the words;
WASTE- OF- MONEY in descending order.

Seeing as tho the 2" piping almost gaurantee's the lack of necessity for 2...

:rolleyes:

That looks sick but I mean come on. What a waste.
May I ask how 2 BOV's actually work?
Do they both go off at the same time, or does 1 go off, then the other?

I have 1 on the stock location and one on the lower pipe before the fmic, both 1g bovs tho...i would never buy 2 aftermarket bovs, too poor.

How would they go off at different times? Do you know how blow off valves work?

what are the advantages of 2 bovs?

For high powered applications the extra BOV doubles the volume of air that can be expelled. It is a preventive measure against compressor surge, don't think of it as two BOV's just think of it as one large BOV. If you need to ask then ask yourself why you need a better BOV to run more PSI.

I understand the theory, but why can't one do the job?

If you have two bovs they will both go off at the same time, thus releasing a larger amount of compressed air faster. Making it more or less impossible to get compressor surge on BIG hp cars, a single bov on these cars doesnt have enough cfm to expell all of the compressed air out, then they get compressor surge. So they buy two to get the job done correctly. That honda definalty doesnt need it judging by the mcdonalds straw size ic piping
