July 1st All NIGHT STREET DRAGS: Gates @ 8pm. ET Trophy, Grudge racing. Scoreboards can be turned off. Must have MUFFLERS. Sport Compact Vs. Domestic Trophy shootout.

This is at the Cedar Falls dragway. I am planning on being there with a few of my DSM buddies, unfortunately my 1G won't be showing this time, due to not being tuned, and a few other issues. If any local people want to meet up before and cruise, or meet at the dragstrip, post here or PM me and we can try and set something up.

I'd like to hit it up, but we'll have to see where my car is at (it's not looking good). Still waiting on a few more parts to put the head back on, plus tune... we'll see. :(

I was hoping to be in better shape, but I'm having trouble tracking down a part and had a few parts get broken in shipping. I'd like to be there, but we'll have to see.

What did you need? I have a whole boatload of misc. DSM parts in my garage. Let me know, I'd be more than happy to help you out.

I think I finally got everything straightened out. I had a cam gear get shattered while being shipped on Monday and my new head gasket got pretty badly bent. I've also been trying to track down a new fuel pump assembly. The cam gear and head gasket should be on their way tonight, and I think I finally tracked down a pump assembly.

Assuming nothing horribly unforseen happens, I'm hoping to have the car running again by Saturday night, and get some miles on it next week. I'm tentatively hoping to make it up for a while, but we'll have to see what happens in the next few days.
