Fast dsm's that look ricey are better sleepers then than the fast dsm's that look crappy...I expect primered, rusted dsm's to be in the 12's, not a 2g with big wheels or a body kit...

Glad you all liked the movie, we have 'mini-meets' and cruises/races almost every other night, but the biggest up and coming meet is on the 19th...Im sure there will be enough dsm's to make its own video right there....

Good point. I agree, when I see a crap looking DSM (especially a 1g) I expect to get raped. A F&F clone that's actually fast would be a surprise. I roll with my buddies modded SRT4, and typically his lady in her 2g awd.
Everyone has been jumping on the cobalt SRT wagon around here...
And its Mustangs and T'a's and... more mustangs...
that end up being prey...

There's lots of DSM's... just not out at once...

Trust me, with AWD you spin first and can get going in 2nd provided you know how to drve. Oh wait, you have a pansy ass auto- you dont need to know how to drive, it does it for you;) FWD it's wheelspin up to about 50MPH. It actually kinda fun, but annoying. Actually I can break em loose at 50 if I hit the gas. It's closer to 70 where I really get real grip.

All I did was put in the o/s valves... new guides.
Touch up the walls, some work behind the seat...
All done by me.
It has larger ports stock of course... and I also have the 1g manifold to boot.
But I'm still using the 2g tb... so its not going to help much.
But I do have some good upper and mid range from it.
(I think)

95% of the people that looked at the head would say it was stock except the valves. Very few would notice what I did.

Contrary to popular belief... :rolleyes: 4g63 heads flow well. It doesn't take much. By going overboard... you typically do more damage than good.

Its cool, looks identical to what happened to me at the track...

110 octane, 14b power...Bumped it up to about 22-23 psi maybe, and it would hold for a quick second and then steadily decrease to like 15-18psi....My car can hold 20psi very well tho

Well, we have been very lazy lately as far as filming...

I'd say we have done more racing then ever, but no filming....I guess we need to start whipping the camera's out again....

We will have updated track videos soon when all of our cars are ready to roll....We are looking for 12's, almost everyone in that video wants 12's with our new setups, so community 12's footage ;)

Cops aren't cracking down...At the actual races, you cant lie Rich, we dont get screwed over by cops...Just in the meeting places, which is no big deal....

Wow what a revival. Things have changed so much. we have a site nowadays, ChitownDSM.com, so if you really are in town then you will be able to find plenty of DSM'rs to show you around and get you involved in the scene (assuming our cars are running :tat:).

Not quite. We all still race, just have been lazy with the taping lately. A lot of us still don't have our DSMs out for the season yet too... Some of the cars are sold, some not running... as usual for DSMs ;) , but we're still here and kickin'. :P

New vids will come this season for sure. There are quite a few new setups on the Chitown streets (including me :D) that should make for some fun footage. :cool:

Basically none of the cars from the previous video's are still on the road, as Tony explained. However, everybody moved on to bigger and better things. Let's just say, 11's are the new 13's and so on ;)

The DSM/DSM Racing scene here has been blowing up significantly since we started a networking site for everyone. Expect a whole new series of my Chicago DSM films, starting with the Mid-late Summer release of ChitownDSM Racing pt.1!
