Is that what causes the srt like burbles and blurps and it sounds like the turbo is spooling with small amouts of throttle input

The srt sounds the way they do because they dont have mufflers stock i do belive.

Correct....My buddy runs the Dejon Tool 3" exhaust on his 1g awd...He has the one without a muffler (they might call it a muffler, but its not)....You can hear the turbo at idle basically, and it sure as hell back fires like a srt a lot of the time...>Definitely louder than one...

Too hard to tell what he ran...Someone was dumping their exhaust (external wastegate or external o2), the red 1g had a N1 style muffler, but nowadays that doesnt necessarily mean anything as far as brand....Manifold, jeez, if you can tell the difference between manifolds by sound, power to you....

Well on the supras you can tell difference so i figured one yall would know it by sound. By no muffler you mean no resonator??? I just want my damn car to sound throaty/raspy:cool:

Haha, the red talon in the first video is my buddies and he was racing me. Yes, its just a dump about 2-3ft long. The catback was not connected there at all, just hanging.
