Hey guys. Erik and myself have been talking about this for a while now. Busy schedules have kept these meets from happening as often as they use to. Anyways...Erik has "passed the torch" onto myself and I will be organizing the Lake Nock-A-Mixon meets.

I am the Sous Chef at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, so getting the food at a good cost isnt a problem for me. Although since I will be buying the food out of pocket, it will be the same as usual, $5 bucks to eat. If anyone would care to bring something that would be great, but its completely up to the person.

So, with that being said. Lake Nock-A-Mixon Meet, Saturday October 21st. Weather permitting Time will be announced later. If anyone has any questions or would like to help\donate Laughing something, let me know ahead of time.

I would like to get a meet in before the weather turns. If not, there is always next season. Smile

Alright guys...

Getting closer to that day. Just want to update the thread. The meet is still Saturday October 21st, Noon-whenever. We will be meeting at the HAYCOCK BOAT ENTRANCE. There are two parking lots. Just look for the cars and Ill try and make some signs up. It will be the same as usual for the food and beverages. I will be charging $5 dollars for food and drinks. I am going to get burgers, hotdogs, sodas, f/k/s, and a whole bunch of goodies. Hopefully the weather will be nice and the event is as successful as past meets there.

The directions are as follows: borrowed from Erik and Jim's past threads.

From Philadelphia:
Take Rt. 76 West to the Blue RT. 476 North. Follow the NE Extension (476) to exit 32 (exit 44 mileage???) Quakertown/Pottstown Rt 663. After paying the toll, make a left on Rt 663 N also known as John Fries HWY. Continue on Rt. 663 to the intersection of Rt 309(McD's, Wendy's on the corner). Cross over Rt. 309 and you will be on Rt. 313. Follow Rt 313 for approx 5 miles and you will see signs for Rt. 563. Make a left on Rt 563 and follow that for approx 6 miles. On the right hand side will be HAYCOCK BOAT ACCESS, that is where the meet will be held, follow the drive to where all the cars are parked. I will make DSM PICNIC signs.

From Cherry Hill Area, NJ:
Take Rt 70 towards the Ben Franklin Bridge, Follow on Rt 676 across the Ben Franklin Bridge through Philadelphia. Mergo onto Rt 76 West. Follow Rt. 76 West to the Blue RT. 476 North. Follow the NE Extension (476) to exit 32 (exit 44 mileage???) Quakertown/Pottstown Rt 663. After paying the toll, make a left on Rt 663 N also known as John Fries HWY. Continue on Rt. 663 to the intersection of Rt 309(McD's, Wendy's on the corner). Cross over Rt. 309 and you will be on Rt. 313. Follow Rt 313 for approx 5 miles and you will see signs for Rt. 563. Make a left on Rt 563 and follow that for approx 6 miles. On the right hand side will be HAYCOCK BOAT ACCESS, that is where the meet will be held, follow the drive to where all the cars are parked. From Allentown/Bethlehem:
You can take Rt 22, Rt 78 or Rt 378 to Rt 309. Follow Rt. 309 South untill you reach Rt. 313(McD's and Wendy's on the corner). Make a left onto Rt 313. Follow Rt 313 for approx 5 miles and you will see signs for Rt. 563. Make a left on Rt 563 and follow that for approx 6 miles. On the right hand side will be HAYCOCK BOAT ACCESS, that is where the meet will be held, follow the drive to where all the cars are parked. I will make DSM PICNIC signs.

From Willks Barre/Scranton:
Take the PA turnpike NE extension Rt 476 SOUTH until exit 32(exit 44 mileage???) Quakertown/Pottstown Rt 663. After paying the toll, make a left on Rt 663 N also known as John Fries HWY. Continue on Rt. 663 to the intersection of Rt 309(McD's, Wendy's on the corner). Cross over Rt. 309 and you will be on Rt. 313. Follow Rt 313 for approx 5 miles and you will see signs for Rt. 563. Make a left on Rt 563 and follow that for approx 6 miles. On the right hand side will be HAYCOCK BOAT ACCESS, that is where the meet will be held, follow the drive to where all the cars are parked. I will make DSM PICNIC signs.

From Harrisburg:
Take Rt 81 North to Rt 78 East. Follow Rt 78 East to Rt 309 South Quakertown. Follow Rt. 309 South untill you reach Rt. 313(McD's and Wendy's on the corner). Make a left onto Rt 313. Follow Rt 313 for approx 5 miles and you will see signs for Rt. 563. Make a left on Rt 563 and follow that for approx 6 miles. On the right hand side will be HAYCOCK BOAT ACCESS, that is where the meet will be held, follow the drive to where all the cars are parked. I will make DSM PICNIC signs.

From Delaware/Maryland
Follow I95 North into PA. Take exit 7 Rt 476 North Plymouth Meeting. Follow Rt. 476 North, Pay your toll. Follow RT. 476 North. Follow the NE Extension (476) to exit 32 (exit 44 mileage???) Quakertown/Pottstown Rt 663. After paying the toll, make a left on Rt 663 N also known as John Fries HWY. Continue on Rt. 663 to the intersection of Rt 309(McD's, Wendy's on the corner).
