french_hustler 09-27-2006, 03:40 PM You're thread is getting locked most likely. You're English is off point, and that's coming from a Frenchman.
Chicago_DSM 09-27-2006, 03:48 PM I think you mean Illinois....Its for sale too...
I'll find the links somewhere....
GSTinCO 09-27-2006, 03:52 PM Go to google and type in twin engine talon and the first page to come up should have pictures for you.

dna59 09-29-2006, 01:21 PM Damn that's crazy.
10secdreams 09-29-2006, 07:43 PM Damn, ive seen that car before but havent seen it in awhile and now looking at it, the BOV must be loud as hell. The bov is right behind you inside the car, at least in the one in the link that was posted.
chaney87 09-29-2006, 08:31 PM How would this work i thought you cant tune 2 diffrent engines to the exact same tune. For that to work if it is awd both engines would have to have the exact same tune or it would rip its self apart like a 4wd truck with 2 diffrent size tires from the front to the back. Right? Becuase if one made just a little more power than the other you would push the front tires or pull the back and strain all steeing, suspension, and the weaker engine parts. Does all of this sound right please correct me if im wrong.
Thebullfrog 09-30-2006, 12:00 AM Your wrong. It would only tear itself apart if the two sets of tires were linked. In this car they aren't. Its a FWD with hacked together FWD parts in the rear to make 2 completely seperate drivetrains. Besides, guys tune 6 Hemis at one time turning 1 set of wheels all the time. It's called a tractor pull.
The Talon was for sale last time I heard. The only real issue with the car is the rear engine overheating. They guy who built it says it would overheat all the time. Can't imagine why that might happen.
redline2 09-30-2006, 12:38 AM it makes about 800 hp at the wheels and runs sub 12's
95RedRS 09-30-2006, 08:16 AM Its not a 12 second car...I understand all the saftey regs at the track b/c theres no rool cage...But on the last run he shoulda just stayed in it and seen what happened.
Oh well still Bad Ass
Turboeagletalon 10-25-2006, 05:18 AM well from what i have heard. to get boalth engines into sinc. he had to run them of the same ecu. whitch make sence if there set uup the exact same.
Turboeagletalon 10-25-2006, 05:20 AM thanks gies things bad ass. it would be sweet if you could set up a rear radiator systme like a ferary
Sleeper7 10-25-2006, 10:25 AM ^ wow
Car would probably be heavy as hell. And he should have thought out that cooling problem way before he put that engine in the back....duhhhh

there are alot of rear engine cars from the factory that don't overheat, so it isn't just a problem with having a motor in the back, just a specific cooling issue with his setup, that could be fixed fairly easy, would need to have a high volume electric water pump, run the piping to the front of the car, and run a 4 core radiator, that is how most of the 2 motor setups i have seen do it.
Sleeper7 10-25-2006, 10:38 AM Obviously there are alot of rear engine setups from the factory.....they have already thought out cooling issues. I'm saying, your putting a modded 4g63 which naturally runs hot in the back of an enclosed car. Obviously one is going to need a better and more planned out cooling system than the system on the front.

Work on your english dude, mods are cracking down bigtime on the bad english and not using the *shift* key after each period lol.
CanadianTSi 10-25-2006, 11:56 AM 100MPH in the 1/8th is quick, but not 800WHP quick. More like 450WHP
