A couple of my buddies on mustangs are going up against me, since the original challange was posted in the svtperformance.com forum there will be a bunch of mustangs but only 1 DSM (mine) It will be this saturday the 18th...anybody wanna join for a stang slotter fest in the MA area???

i would go but i have work and the dsm is down for the moment( oil leak some where and over heating)

It will be on saturday around 10pm at braintree mall, there will be a bunch of mustangs, like 15, all of which are cobras and machs and stuff...

if your dsm is 12 second or faster, you should be able to beat most of them.

Sorry about the cheap shot xxrusianxx, I didn’t realize you were an import…
I would take a cruise up and help you out, if you had something set-up at a local strip. But five hours is kind of a long drive just to beat up a few Mustangs in a dark alley. It would be a lot more fun to run in front of a crowd of people at the strip. What’s your car run in the quarter mile, or what is your current mod list?

my best to date is 12.5 at 110 running a 60trim at 17psi
thinking of bumping it up to 20 for the race though

turn the boost up higher and put some race gas in!

If you have fuel mods should be fine @20 with pump gas.

What turbo are you running, i hung with one with a 16g and the cobra had a chip?

I have a 60 trim, i have raced a cobra before and was able to take it but the cobras that are going to be there are not all stock...
I should have some videos for you guys when I am done with them...

Heck yeah a 60 trim you should be able to hang with them pretty good!

Well I got good news and I got bad news... The bad news is that I blew my tranny, no more 3rd and 4th, while racing a 99cobra. The good news is that the 94 cobra that I was planning to race got smoked...I will post the video tonight. The 99 cobra was getting killed until the 3rd gear, where the tranny went bye bye. The winter project is starting early this winter...

let me know if theres ever another battle.my motors done this week and i love whooping up on ls1's and stangs
