Boost controller not working

Well I have a hallman es manual boost controller. I installed it one line off the bov and intake manifold and one line to the internal wastegate. I can turn it all the way out and hit 6lbs all the way in I get 10lbs. Whats causing the bc not to work. Ive been threw 3 off them not working when I sell them to a buddie or let them try them they work fine. Could it be with the hks 272 cams theres not enough vac?. I have a 20g and instead of coming off the intake and bov I ran it off a nipple on the turbo housing same thing. So whats gonna help me make this thing go?

What happens if you just run on atomosphre pressure or manifold pressure. Sounds like a wastegate problem unless you're an idiot and dont know how to use the BC.

IT very well could be the wastgate the turbo is not made to have a internal gate.I rigged it to try and get by with it. Cheap and easy dont match with dsm. I bought a 02 housing thats flanged for a tial gate

Have you checked for boost leaks?
