Can I post my sign Now TEd? Or is it still to big I really don't know how to make it smaller.

Still too big. Its a faster board... but any big image is going to slow it down. Let me see if it looks any good shrunk down and if so I'll host a smaller version for you.

So far the facelift doesn't seem to bad.
I can definetly get used to it.

Is that cause this was the first time I have been to the new board, or is there something wrong with it?
Just wondering,
Keith
PS: Looks good!

Probably because it is your first time. Bulbs work fine for me. If it persists, post here and let me know what operating system and browser you use. Thanks.
Bulbs working fine here, but before the switch I could leave the forums page up and it would keep my connection active by the "auto reload whatever it is." For whatever reason that is not working now because my connection is turned off if I leave it on and walk away.

Hey Junior I emailed you the url of the new smaller sig pic that I'll host for you. Let me know if you got it - I used the new board's e-mail function to send it and I don't know for sure yet if it works.

Well the site is lookin good.
here's my gripe. Could you maybe change the length at which a thread splits into two pages? as in maybe around 25 posts or so?
Also, will we have to login spereately and then post or will it be on one page?
Threads seem to load much faster.
cool.

OK 90GSTforME, I added to the thread length before it splits, let me know if it does not work or if the threshold should be raised again.
No seperate log in necessary.
Threads load MUCH faster now, its great. Seems any slow-down is now primarily due to internet routing. Haven't noticed any server slow-downs yet, but they will happen from time to time as it does with all servers. Overall, things are much faster around here, as a DSM forum SHOULD be :).
Check out the search feature. Search for a word or username. The UBB used to take a minute to finish the search. This board does it almost instantly.

Did you have to buy the Vboard software from someone, or was it available via download on the net? The guy who runs our local message board is looking for new software, and any info would be apreciated :)
Thanks,
Keith

Thanks Ted.
On the old system people's locations were displayed next to the reply on the left. That was a nice feature. Anyway to do that with this setup?
yes definitely MUCH faster.
cool

Did you have to buy the Vboard software from someone, or was it available via download on the net$160 from vBulletin.
On the old system people's locations were displayed next to the reply on the left.Yes, I really liked that feature. I will see if it can be hacked into vBulletin because I would like to see that as well. I *probably* won't do much hacking to this board anytime soon, since a major update is expected from vBulletin in the not to distant future. If I were to do alot of hacks before the upgrade, I would either have to re-do all the hacks to the upgraded script (time consuming) or keep the older version (would miss out on improvements). So I will be starting a list of hacks to hopefully complete after the next upgrade from vBulletin... and the "Locations hack" is something I will try to do.
